Senior Teacher, Beeztola School at Dhaka

Rahima Akter Rumi is presently serving as the Vice Principal of Solmaid Community School (SCS) and also is a founding member and Treasurer of Solmaid Community School Foundation (SCSF) since its inception. Earlier she served as the senior teacher of SCS for about eight years (2013-21).

Before joining SCS, she was a senior teacher of Beeztola School (a charitable organization under a Korean NGO) at Dhaka with about ten years’ experience in teaching in primary and secondary school.

Rumi is a Graduate (B.A.) from the National University of Bangladesh. She received Teachers Training by Teachers (3T) and Leadership Training from International School Dhaka (ISD) and Aga Khan School for about 9 years. She has also obtained a certificate on Physical Exercise from “Quantum Foundation” at Dhaka as well as training from “Well International Child Research”.
